Fellowship in Prayer initiates and supports programs for adults and youth that promote peace and justice through prayer, meditation, and service such as: interfaith prayer experiences, presentations, retreats, film screenings (ie. Prayer in America), an annual interfaith dialogue luncheon, exhibitions (ie. the internationally acclaimed Forgiveness Project), and days of Interfaith Youth Service. Participants are encouraged to develop interfaith understanding by exploring spiritual resouces and practices from diverse religious traditions. FIP welcomes collaboration with organizations who share a similar vision and mission.

An exciting event in the Princeton, NJ area was our recent 60th Anniversary Conference, PRAYER: An Answer for the 21st Century, featuring multifaith visionaries and attracting attendees from across the country. Sr. Joan Chittister, Zen Master Bernie Glassman, Rabbi Justus Baird, Gustav Niebhur, Daisy Khan, Rev. James Forbes and Fr. Edward Beck among many others offered inspiration and direction. Participants were treated to a festive banquet and concert that one member of the audience described as "a riotous celebration of the Sacred Presence...a glorious cacophany of praise!" Share the experince by viewing video clips courtesy of Odyssey Networks and Princeton Community Television.

For upcoming programs check Special Events. You will find a weekly schedule on the Calendar of Events for the meditation groups who gather at 291 Witherspoon Street.
Spiritual Direction and  Interfaith Weddings and Ceremonies are also available.
