ERETZ-IR

A Sacred Journey grant was awarded to Eretz-Ir through Jewish National Fund by Fellowship in Prayer in 2019 to support their network of Israeli urban communities.  Jewish, Christian Arab, Muslim Arab and Bedouin people are encouraged to engage in meaningful conversations and joint activities in order to build collaboration among the groups and allow long-held stereotypes to fall away.

Eretz-Ir is dedicated to raising the community quality of life across Israel’s peripheral cities. Established in 2006, Eretz-Ir works hand in hand with local residents to strengthen cities using community, social entrepreneurship, and employment.
