Muslim Life Program of Princeton University
The Muslim Life Program in the Office of Religious Life of Princeton University was awarded a Sacred Journey Grant in 2015 by Fellowship in Prayer to help bring Firdaus Ensemble from Granada, Spain, to perform at their annual Mawlid, an intercultural and interfaith celebration and contemplation of the life of the Prophet Muhammad. The ensemble offers a fusion of Eastern and Western music and brings together Flamingo, Celtic, Arabic and Persian poetry and song in one performance.
